What an absolute cracker of a morning today to race Nepean. The race in its 32nd year is always a sell out and always a quality race.
Really pleased with the performances with Barbara taking out her age group and Julie, Trish and Fred all stepping up to a new distance and learning. I even managed to toe the start line, guessing it must be 13 years since I last raced Nepean and I loved every minute of it (well almost!). see below picture of brilliant sunrise over the lake prior to the triathletes wreaking havoc.
Was also great to be part of the Northern Suburbs Tri Club contingent with about 20 of the club members racing and 3 podium places.
