Now in its 3rd year Lake Mac Tri is based in the idyllic setting of Speers Point Park and just a short trip up the M1 from Sydney is convenient for both a weekend trip away or day trip. The race accommodates a good range of distances from Super Sprint to Standard Distance and Kids Races too.
This year the Super Sprint also featured as the Australian Super Sprint Champs. Both Anastasia and myself raced in the Super Sprint and also from Kids squad Harrison and Spencer were racing in the Kids events (supported by Dad in Standard Distance).
Super Sprint was fast and furious with both Anastasia (7th female overall) and myself taking Silver in our age groups. A great race and location. Looking forward to returning next year.
